Striped Garter Stitch Cushion Cover Knit a striped garter stitch cushion cover, using our fab new PDF knitting pattern, ready for you to download and start today.
Our striped cushion cover is made in a similar way to an afghan, where it’s started in one corner, and you’ll increase and decrease until you’ve formed a square.
We’ve used DROPS Alaska knitting yarn, which is 100% wool, and available in a lovely array of colours. We’ve used berry colours to form our stripes.
This is a very interesting knit, even though it’s "just" garter stitch (we LOVE garter stitch!), and they’re "just" stripes (we love stripes too!). Because of the way it’s made, it holds you interest and before you know it, you’ve finished!
To get the most from this pattern, you would benefit from being familiar with the following knitting techniques:
Cast on Knit Increase Decrease Making buttonholes Cast off
All very basic, so if you’re a beginner, fear not! Give it a go! And as usual, if you get stuck, we’re here to give a helping hand.
