FAQs

All dyed clothing has been set and can be washed in cold water with other colors. I do recommend washing children's items prior to wearing, as I use professional detergent in the process which may be harsh for children's skin.

I admire your bargain hunting skills, but at this time I am not accepting bids on my items. I try to price my items fairly. Occasionally I do run sales, so I suggest stopping back and checking often.

Yes, I do! And it's so exciting. You can be assured that these items are chosen with great care and inspection. I also put them through a rigorous cleaning process before and after dyeing them. I love working with upcycled items for their uniqueness. Plus, by choosing an upcycled item, you are helping to keep a bit of the 15.1 million tons of textiles that are thrown away each year out of the landfills. I clearly state which items have been upcycled. If not mentioned, then the item is brand new.

Great question! When I use the term "tie dye" it generally means one of two things. First, when used by itself, tie dye refers to the traditional dyeing method using liquid dyes. When paired with "Ice Dye" it refers to the general art form. Second, ice dye is a form of tie dyeing, but instead of liquid dyes, powdered dyes are placed on the item with ice over or the powdered dyes are placed over the ice which is on top of the item. Either way, it allows the ice to draw out the colors that make up the base colors, achieving colors and affects that are not possible with traditional tie dyeing.
