And why not? Shimmery, color changing opal is one of the world's most beloved gemstones--and now you can make your own with these amazing flakes.
Each bag contains approximately 1/2 ounce, or three tablespoons of opalescent flakes, which can be immersed in resin, liquid polymer clay, or other mediums to create the look of opal; OR, you can apply the flakes individually onto the surface of colored polymer clay cabochons, and seal with a clear top coat after curing. A little goes a very long way!
These random sized flakes (Average size 1/8")are perfect for whatever opal adventures you have in mind--and you can create gorgeous opals at a fraction of the cost of the real thing; these look amazing when combined with my iridescent dichroic film too.
You will receive one bag of flakes, with complete instructions on use, as well as tips and tricks to get the most out of your purchase please note that the opal cabochons and finished opal pendant pictured are for illustration only, and NOT included.
