This pattern stems from a daft seasonal joke, the type of silliness you might find in a Christmas cracker. If you like the snowmen, but want a different phrase - get in touch and I'll be happy to help you work it out.
The pattern is suitable for beginners/intermediate stitchers. It contains no fractional stitches but a fair bit of back stitching. You can complete the piece on evenweave or aida fabric and the special snowflake fabric I used is available from Lakesideneedlecraft.co.uk. You can also enhance the festive spirit by purchasing one of my snowflake needleminders!
The stitched area is 96 × 116 stitches. Using the recommended 14/28 ct fabric this gives a finished size of approximately 6.2 × 7.9 inches (fitting comfortably in a 9 inch hoop). Do ensure you leave at least 3 inches around the border for ease of framing.
The pattern requires 23 colours of embroidery floss and the key is given for DMC and Anchor brands.
You will receive a PDF document which contains the pattern in B/W with coloured back stitching along with detailed instructions to help you recreate my example piece.
If you require a hard copy of the pattern or a Large Print /XL version please get in touch.

Such a cute pattern from a favourite seller of mine. As always the chart is very easy to follow and comes with loads of information. Can't wait to get started and can't wait to see what Claire comes up with next year. Highly recommended
