These are two of the raw driftwood pieces I found on the beach near my home in the Pacific Northwest. They have been sitting on a shelf for a number of years with other pieces of driftwood that the surf and sand carved into art.
All of these found treasures can be kept as the sculptures nature carved them into, or they can be used to create new art. These two pieces would be especially suited to the art of necklace jewelry making. Other pieces can be seen at https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrueNorthDriftwood . The larger of these driftwood pieces is 7 by 3 with the curve by 2 by .5 inches and weighs 1.4 ounce, and the other is 4 by 2.75 with the curve by 1 by 1 inches and weighs .6 ounce. My only alteration was to brush off the sand. The color you see on the screen may not be the exact color of the driftwood.
Whenever possible the driftwood pieces are shipped in recycled packing materials. This helps keep the costs down and our environment healthy.
