A heritage breed from the North of England Masham sheep (pronounced Mass-am) are medium sized and hornless, and have been bred for over a century in the Northern Counties of England. They have a distinctive black and white face and legs and a woolly forelock.
A fine handle English white wool with a soft, silky handle, semi lustre, an excellent wool for felting, hand spinning, craft projects and doll making.
Also spelt Masham after the Yorkshire village name.
It originated from a cross between a Wensleydale ram and a Swaledale to give a tough sheep with a quite interesting wool

Should your purchase arrive in less than perfect condition please let me know and I will do everything possible to sort it out. As many items are hand made and unique it may not be possible to provide an identical replacement. Please be aware that whilst I take great care to ensure correct colour reproduction computer monitors often show colours differently. I also describe my products in great detail - please read the description carefully and ask before buying if you are unsure.
Items produced to special order are not eligible for refund or exchange unless received damaged. Please make sure that you have ordered a sufficient quantity for your project as specially produced items cannot be accurately matched.
