We have vintage early 1960s dress patterns, ALL are fitted top with a separate gathered skirt style cut which is why they're in this collection. All can be adapted for any occasion depending on your fabric choice and all are totally timeless!

Simplicity #4426 is a great shirt waist dress, timeless with different skirts, sleeves and a collar. Size 14 (34" Bust). No date, but guessing 1961-4.

Simplicity #3528 is a great basic dress with Sabrina or collar neckline, short sleeves or sleeveless style. Size 10 TEEN (30" Bust). No date, again 1961-4.

Simplicity #6042 is a button front shirt waist dress with 2 different sleeves. Size 12 (32" Bust). Copyright 1965.

Simplicity #3965 a "Simple To Make" Pattern so a good beginner's pattern. This dress has a couple of options for details in the back of the neckline Size 14 (34" Bust). No date, my guess is 1961-4.

Simplicity #4447 is another shirt waist top with a collar option, sleeveless or short sleeves, and 2 different skirt style dress. Size 5 Junior Petite (31 1/2" Bust). No date, my guess is 1961-4.


*My advice for using vintage patterns: Carefully flatten out each piece on top of new paper and trace them. Store the old pattern. Use the new one. Sizing is different so make sure to measure and don't rely on size numbers.

Sizes are not all equal! Each era and pattern brand has a different size number system, so please check the measurements. ie: Just because it says 12 doesn't mean the same size as a 12 garment in a store today :)

We spent hours sorting all our patterns by ERA/DATE and TYPE. In some cases we have a pile of say, 60s little dresses so they're all together for you to choose from, just note the Pattern Company and # Number. Etsy will show us which one your ordered when we get the payment alert!
