An heirloom pepper of epic proportions from the dark side (Star wars pun intended), this ornamental hot pepper is grown as much for it's beautiful foliage as it is for its citrus toned heat. Peppers start out a deep purple and ripen on the plant to a scarlet red with a myriad of peppers in different stages at any given time. Plants are compact and are well suited for containers, beds or even borders and are an excellent addition to the edible landscape venture. Harvest at any stage of colouration to add some spicy South American flavour to your dishes.
