When a big branch of our Eucalyptus Tree, here in San Diego, broke off, it happily gave me access to all of it's many treasures. The best way I can describe them is caps that have come off the seed pods. I have included photos of the pods with the caps still on, and then the plethora of yellow stamens emerging and bursting out of the pods. I have a supply of every stage pictured here, but listed separately and will be listing them as time allows.
These pod covers are about one inch square and come in a range of colors as shown. Additionally, there is a small pinhole in the center of each one, so that they can be wired or strung onto something or you could pin them to something with a decorative pin.
I don't know if they have any dye properties, but if you are interested, I will be happy to follow your instructions to find out.
This listing is for one cup of pods which are very light.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate contacting me.
