This pen was handmade by me in our woodshop located in the East Foothills of San Jose, California. It's made from Goncalo Alves that comes from Mexico and the pen is a Rollester Style pen in Chrome with a Schneider refill (black ink). The pen measures a total of 5 1/16" long.
To replace the ink, unscrew the lid and then unscrew the rollerball pen tip off. Remove and replace the Schneider pen refill (don't lose the spring) and screw the tip back on.
Your pen will be shipped in either a pen box or sleeve inside a bubble wrapped bag & bubble envelope to protect it as best as possible during shipping. Domestic and International shipping is calculated upon checkout.
My goal is to make each piece as unique as possible so that when you receive an item from my store, it's one of a kind and ultimately, I would like to make it so that I will never make another Goncalo Alves Rollester Rollerball Pen again. You've got the only one! Because I've only been doing woodturning a few months, there might be some slight imperfections in the wood and I'm still learning the art of a perfect finish but all pens are sanded smooth to 10k and polished to a gloss, if not glass finish. I try to price everything fairly reasonable because I know what I paid for the pen kit and wood and as long as I make back what it cost to make it and a few for the next project, I'm happy to price my items around the cost to make it. By no means does it reflect in the care or quality of items that I take to create an item.
If you do purchase an item and find that the wood has cracked or part is malfunctioning, no matter how long you have had it, I'll turn a new piece of wood for you, replace the part or pen altogether. All you need to do is contact me and send the defective item back.
