Launched in the 1930's, this delightful Warwick No.2 camera was made in Birmingham, England by Standard Cameras Limited.
This 'Warwick' is a classic box camera design for capturing 6 x 9 cm pictures on number 120 roll film. Similar to the Modern and Varsity box cameras, it’s constructed of a cardboard body with decorative metal elements. It features two brilliant finders for horizontal or vertical photos, a meniscus lens and a simple time and instantaneous exposure shutter.
This camera remains in good condition (see photos). The shutter fires well, plus the viewfinders are still useable. The leather carry handle is also still in place, which is quite rare for these models. Some of the camera's metal work has some minor rust or paint-loss (see photos).
