Item details

This is a skein of yarn which I spun on my Ashford E Spinner.

It is spun from a braid of Texel wool hand dyed by fellow Etsy seller, Shunklies.

Texel was a new wool breed for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed spinning this. Though not quite as soft as the likes of merino, it is definitely next to skin soft.

The colours are a gorgeous mix blues, teals, pinks and peaches.

WPI : 14= 4ply/light DK weight ( I'd suggest needle size 2.75mm- 4.5mm)
Length : approx. 256.5yds/234.5m
Weight : approx. 113g/ 4oz

The skein is long enough for a scarf or maybe a hat or pair of mitts.

Would also be great used in weaving or for a bag or other accessory.

Hand wash whatever you make from this as it will felt.
