For the longest time I wanted to learn how to bind my own books. It was at the top of my "Great List of Things to Learn" but I never let myself take the time to actually learn the skill. Until one day I did. It brings together a great mix of different skills and the actual putting together of the book is something that is so soothing for me.
If you've also had the desire, or know of someone who has, to learn how to bind a book, here is a simple do-it-yourself kit for making a saddle stitch sketchbook.
