This is a piece of vintage jacquard woven two toned fabric that measures 52” in width by 59” in length. The fabric has a black satin top side with a blue undertone and has a repeating blue floral motif woven into it. The underside is a matte weave with the colours reversed - black on blue. This fabric was acquired from the liquidation of an old fur business, so obviously had been used to line fur coats and is a remnant. Judging by the appearance of the motif, I believe that this fabric dates to the 1950s or 60s. I took a small piece from it to perform a burn test - it yielded a hard black bead, but the test was inconclusive for me. It is in very good condition except for some discolouration to the backside at one end - this doesn’t show on the black side, but was caused by light exposure to the backside while in storage. The discolouration is within 16” of one end, so if you wanted to display the blue side, you need to calculate 43” of usable fabric. This is nice quality material, very rich looking - perhaps could be used to line a hat, make a scarf or wrap or a pillow or anything that you can think of!

For our US clients, we do ship to the US. We're in Canada and have a US carrier service to bring the parcels across the border so that USPS services can be used out of Champlain, NY. It's a better service and less expensive than Canada Post.
For my International clients outside of the US and Canada, I can ship as well using either USPS services or Canada Post. Also, please note International Clients, please send along your telephone number in a convo if it is not included with your info as it is required for the customs form.
For my Canadian clients, I must use Canada Post.
An additional note for our Canadian clients, as we are a registered business in Canada, we're obliged to charge the GST or HST (to the applicable provinces).
GST & PST to any sales made within the province of Quebec. Our tax number will be included with any invoice to a fellow Canadian.

I will ship to your Etsy registered address, which should be your paypal address as well, unless you specify shipment to a different address. Delivery times can differ especially to international destinations.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
If an error was made when listing, we will be more than happy to accept a return and issue a refund in full. For a refund to be considered you must:
Contact us within 24 hours of receipt Mail the item back to us within 3 days of contacting us back to our Canadian address.
Please email or convo us if there is an issue with your item, we will get back to you as soon as possible with the return information. You cannot simply return without contacting us first.
We do not accept returns for fit, we take great care to disclose measurements when listing and as an online buyer you need to verify these measurements with a similar garment you own before purchasing. A cloth measuring tape is the easiest method, just measure a similar garment and compare to the measurements that were given. Also colors may vary from monitor to monitor, so we cannot refund due to a color not being quite what you viewed on your screen.
As we sell vintage clothing and collectible items and as these are not new items, there may be a little something wrong with the item. We will do our best to find and to describe this damage or flaw in the description and when possible show a photo of the damage. We do try our very best to purchase items in the best condition possible but when something is over 20 years old and has been kept in a cupboard or trunk for a long period of time, you cannot always expect total perfection. As I stated above we do point all damages or flaws in the pieces that we offer.
