Item details

Vintage, American weathered barn wood sourced from barns in Iowa, Illinois, or Wisconsin. The size listed here is perfect for a shelving project. Each piece is unique and are likely to have historical impressions, nail holes, faded paint, weathered edges, crackles, knots, and variations in the wood. Pieces are primarily pine or oak, brown and brown/gray as a base color. Wood pieces are approximately 36 inches long, 7/8 to 1 1/4 inches thick, and between 7 1/2 inches to 9 1/4 inches wide. Back in the day, measurements weren't exact! We gently clean and remove nails, although some embedded hardware may be included. Wood has not been sanded or otherwise modified, so be careful when handling!

Please email us to specify your color preference - brown, honey brown, or gray.

We also sell volume for larger projects, contact us at for more information.

About the seller - Ann Williams lives in historic Galena, Illinois. After a long career in human services, AC decided to pursue her dream of opening a small shop and sharing her love of reclaimed vintage barn wood and other items with others. She is now restoring an 1838 building that will house Galena's Route 20 store, and Upstairs vacation rental (soon to be listed on Airbnb), to be opened in April of 2018. More info to come!
