As always, buy more than one item from my shop and combine the shipping. I don't make a profit on shipping like some sellers do. However, Etsy's calculator doesn't do well with combined orders, so you may receive a partial refund on your shipping after you pay for your order.
Keep in mind that many of my items are one-of-a-kind, and I have local customers looking at them. If you buy something that has just sold locally and wasn't yet removed, the order will be cancelled and your full payment returned to you, unless I have a similar item in stock. You can always contact me before your purchase to confirm the item is still available.
Shipping is to the address on the order. If you are ordering a gift you want shipped to someone, make sure you change the address BEFORE you order or it won't be able to be shipped where you want. You'll have to cancel the order, enter the correct address, and re-order. Sorry, that is Paypal and Etsy policy, not mine.
We do not make a profit on shipping like some sellers. Our charges are actual costs for shipping and packing. However, etsy's calculator does not do well with multiple orders, so you may receive a partial shipping refund. Shipping is listed as 3-5 days after purchase in case of delays such as getting snowed in. However, they usually go out faster than that.
Shipping is usually by the cheapest method the USPS offers to save you money, plus the cost of tracking, insurance and packing materials. If you need faster shipping, contact me for availability (overnight shipping is not available in my rural area). All items are shipped with tracking info/insurance #'s to avoid scammers and to verify return/refund requests. Orders may not be accepted from zip codes that can't be insured.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Ask for rates if not listed. We do not ship to countries that can't be insured...those orders will be canceled. Many items will be sent by Priority Mail or Registered Mail for added security. If you are substantially overcharged for shipping, I'll refund the difference. Customs fees/VAT/brokerage fees are your responsibility. Remember also that international shippers and/or customs agencies can sometimes take weeks or even months to clear packages for delivery. We have no control over this.
All standard forms of payment are accepted. CHECKS/money orders/cashier's checks may be held until they clear, so expect shipping delays on these forms of payment, unless you are using USPS money orders. CREDIT CARDS are accepted through Etsy Direct Checkout, Paypal, or direct (contact me). LAY-AWAYS can be set up on larger items...contact me for terms. USA 90% SILVER COINS (1964 and earlier) are also accepted. Contact me for current exchange rates. Iowa residents will have sales tax added.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Additional return information
Refunds/returns ONLY if item is substantially different from the description and photos. Photos are a part of the description. View them for signs of wear and damage. Because of the possibility of switching, jewelry made of fine gold/gems and large collections (stamps, coins, etc.) are NOT returnable for any reason. No returns/refunds on custom orders or on perishable items. I use lots of photos and secret marks to confirm the validity of all returns. All other items: 7-day return privilege from day you received it, and it should be back to me within 18 days of day you received it (foreign buyers-I realize our Homeland Security can delay that. I take the postal cancellation date into consideration).
Most of my items are antique or vintage so naturally are often NOT going to be in perfectly new condition as a result (faults will be listed). Therefore items cannot be returned for those listed faults/wear. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping charges are not refunded. No partial refunds. Full refund of item price once it is returned. Item must be returned in the condition it was sent to you. Damaged/lost in shipping...you must fully cooperate with filing a claim with the post office or shipper, and you will be refunded once the claim is finalized.
