Item details

This yarn bowl has a curvy J shaped slot plus 3 individual holes to guide your yarn while the bowl holds the ball to prevent it from rolling away from you. Use the slot if you want to change projects or colors or use one of the holes if you prefer to stay committed to one project at a time.

This bowl measures 6 5/8” wide by 3 1/4” tall. It is glazed in a dark mottled blue around the rim and periwinkle blue on the rest. Then some splashes are added for fun!

All the cut edges have been smoothed with a chamois cloth before the clay was fired to insure that your yarn glides smoothly through the slot and holes. The foot is nicely trimmed and burnished smooth so it won’t scratch your furniture.

What a great gift this yarn bowl would be for the knitter or crochet enthusiast in your life. Or why not treat yourself!

Should you occasionally use it for food, perhaps as a fruit bowl or bread bowl, it is lead free, food safe and microwave safe too. To maintain the high glossy finish, please hand wash. Dishwasher detergents may dull the shine.

I will ship within 1-2 days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your payment confirmation from PayPal.

My ceramics are packaged very carefully in sturdy boxes with bubble wrap and "peanuts" or shipping paper to reduce the risk of breakage. I will reuse and recycle packaging materials whenever possible.

My preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. I base my shipping estimate on cross-country rates.
If the actual shipping cost to your location is more than $1.00 below my estimate I will issue you a refund via Etsy Direct Checkout or PayPal for the difference.

If the carton is larger than 1 cubic foot, the USPS cost jumps to a much higher rate. In that case I'll use Fed Ex which is usually a lower price. I will compare prices and give you the best deal.

If your Etsy and PayPal addresses differ, please let me know in the "message to seller" note, which address to send it to. If you do not notify me and I cannot reach you after 3 days, I will ship the item to the address given during Etsy checkout.

Payments

Ceramics by Marcelle gladly accepts Etsy Direct Checkout or PayPal, Both are a secure and easy payment option. Payment must be made in full before the item is shipped. Calif. residents need to be charged 8.5% tax.

Returns & exchanges

I want my customers to be very happy with their purchases. If you are unsatisfied, please contact me within 1 week. Refunds will be made for the cost of the item only. Shipping charges cannot be refunded. Please return the item in its original packaging for safety, and send it USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Your money will be refunded to your PayPal account once the piece safely arrives.
