Item details

This item is available for pre-order of the next batch of this colorway. Preparation time for your order may be 3-4 weeks.

Handspun yarn of 100% Corridale wool, hand dyed in the Urban Faerie Tale colorway from the Urban Fantasy collection - blue, yellow, pink, lime green, white. Each skein is approximately 190 yards, 13 wpi, spun on a drop spindle.

A lot of loving care goes into my yarn. Each skein of yarn is spun by hand on a drop spindle (not a spinning wheel) and takes approximately 12-18 hours to create. And that's not counting the dying process.

FAQs

Yes, I can do custom orders. Please contact me to discuss details.

If you ordered a wool item, there should have been a paper enclosed that outlines care instructions. If you're missing that, the short version is hand wash, dry flat, and don't put the wool through much wringing or temperature shock. Be gentle! If not, your wool could turn to felt, shrink, stretch, or bring on the zombie sheep apocalypse. And nobody wants that to happen. For art, hang it up safe, dust it when it needs it, no cheesy fingerprints. A damp cloth in emergencies (it is acrylic), but try not to get to that point.

At this time, I am not able to offer a gift wrapping service with your order. I re-use packaging from shipments I've received whenever possible. Otherwise, your order will likely arrive in a manila envelope unless it is big enough to need a box. Please recycle if possible.

The nature of most of my wearable items is that one size fits most. Ex. women's gloves, adult knit hats, etc. Please contact me with concerns you might have about sizing or possible custom orders.
