Point of Maine - Fingering weight - 80/20 Merino/Nylon or Merino DK. Your choice. This makes great socks, warm and cozy for year round wear or would make a beautiful Shawl or Sweater in the DK weight. Super soft!
SWMerino/Nylon Base 80/20% fingering weight. 462 yds/100 grams the gauge on a US 1 - 3 needle is 7 -8 sts = 1"
DK - SW Merino Base 100% merino DK weight, 245 yards/ 100 grams gauge on a US 5 is 5.5 sts = 1"
Superwash wool is machine washable - I recommend hand washing but if you like to machine wash please use the delicate cycle and lay flat to dry. I recommend washing items separately or hand washing for the first few washes as minimal color bleeding may occur.
A note about hand dyed yarn:
No two skeins are identical. If you are going to need more than two skeins for one project I will pick the skeins that are most alike and I recommend alternation skeins every two rows in your project so that the yarn will blend. :)
All yarn is from a smoke-free, cat-friendly environment, who is not allowed near the yarn.
Please remember that color differs from monitor to monitor.
Beautiful yarn! Reminds me of our visit to Jasper Beach when we were in Maine last summer. Will be turning it into simple cowls for my sister & me as a knit memory.
