Want to make planting your seeds and bulbs easier, to just the right depth, and more enjoyable? Then the Garden Dibble is for you! Once you use it, you won't want to use anything else!
Dibbles are used for planting seeds, seedlings, and bulbs, as well as to scratch lines in your garden for runs of seeds. The dibble makes consistent holes to a consistent depth every time for both seedlings and bulbs, so you never have to guess if you're planting deep enough, or too deep. It's far better to use when planting stem or root cuttings, as you don't damage the plant by forcing it into the ground. The dibble has 1" markings up to 6" so you can decide how deep you want to plant your seeds or bulbs. It makes planting both enjoyable and faster work!
These dibbles are made of Oak and will last for many years. They are hand-turned on our wood lathe so that each one is slightly different and unique (no two exactly alike), and comes in SMALL, MEDIUM, and LARGE. (Comes with instructions for care.)
I like to re-purpose wood when I can. This particular wood came from a restoration project of an older home here in Kentucky. This oak most likely had been a sapling from around the time of the Civil War.
