INTERMEDIATE KNITTER PATTERN * Variety of stitches

Any gradient yarn will create this lovely shawl. It is a one size fits all pattern. Smaller people will want to wear it as a boat neck. Larger women will select the v-neck. Change in neckline has to do with how it is pinned together, not on how the pattern is written.

Pattern requires approximately 450 yards. Most of my gradient yarn skeins do not have that many yards, but I do have other skeins that pair well with them. Stitches: cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, knit in the front and the back of a stitch and knit two together.

This shawl was knit with handspun from my angora goats, alpacas and sheep. I spun the yarn for the shawl as one continuous gradient yarn. You may achieve the same look, by buying yarns that are in the same colorway as individual skeins. I have listed most of my gradient yarn in my shop. There are also complementary yarns to give you enough yardage.

This is a "limited edition" shawl and color skeins are not available. The pattern details the exact yardage and fiber used. Any sock weight yarn will work including spaced dyed yarns. Just cast on and follow the pattern ignoring the comments about changing colors.

You may make longer shawl by repeating the pattern as established until the desired length.

File delivery
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

Payments

If the customer cancels a sale, after it has already been shipped, he/she will be responsible for its return and the shipping fee will not be returned. A refund will not be issued until I am once again in possession of the item sold.

Returns & exchanges

I will accept and refund the value of yarns that are returned in their original packaging. Weight will be verified on return to ensure that it has not been used. I cannot accept the return of finish goods like shawls, because they are unique and one of a kind. My finished goods have not been worn and their value decreases as soon as they are used.
