Item details

This beautiful yarn was hand dyed in rural Sussex, using acid dyes for a colourfast finish.

The yarn is 55% Bluefaced Leicester and 45% silk, and is a 4ply or fingering weight. There is approximately 400m in this 100g skein, perfect for socks or a shawl!

The silk in this yarn makes it exceptionally soft, and gives it a wonderful sheen, and the Bluefaced Leicester is a high quality wool, so this yarn is a real luxury.

I have tried to capture the colours as accurately as possible, however there may be slight variations in the colours as shown on your screen.

This yarn should be hand washed in cool water, then dried flat for the best results.
