This is a generous piece of Waverly "Calico Kitchen" decorator fabric from the 1970s. It is a lovely mid weight cotton that would be perfect for kitchen or breakfast nook curtains or to upholster those kitchen tables chairs. It would also be great for table cloths and appliance covers as well.
The fabric is a cheerful white daisy with brown dots on gold calico type print with various Early American scenes that have the look of being stitched onto the fabric. There is a rooster, a coffee grinder, a fruit bowl, candlesticks, a wood stove, salt and pepper mills as well as assorted dishes and flowers. These are all done in gold, green orange and brown.
This piece measures 5 1/2 yards of 45" wide fabric. I believe, by the feel of the fabric, that it is 100% cotton and has been treated with Scotchgard.
This is being sold in 1/2 yard increments so that you can order just what you need.
This fabric is like new! There are no holes, tears, odors or stains. It is unwashed and ready to ship from our non smoking home.
