SHIPPING TIMES AND SERVICES: Most order will be shipped within 3 business days of receiving payment. If for any reason there is a delay, I will contact you immediately. My goal is to try ship packages within 48 hours.
Larger, more fragile items may require additional time in acquiring appropriate packaging material and handling.
To try to keep shipping costs low, I ship most items USPS parcel post. On occasion I may ship USPS 1st class mail for smaller, lighter weight items or priority mail if it falls within the estimated shipping rate for the item. (at my discretion)
I will be more then happy to upgrade shipping service to expedited services if you need the item in a hurry, but please email me PRIOR TO purchasing so that I can adjust the shipping costs to the service you desire. Additional postage will then be added to item .
Insurance, at item value, is included on ALL fragile items being shipped as well as all purchases over $100.
NOTE: Shipping to a PO address using parcel post can take approx 4-6 weeks so you may wish to upgrade to priority mail that will incur an additional costs that buyer is responsible for, please inquire prior to purchase.
LOCAL PICKUP and DELIVERY: (fees not included in item listing/shipping) Local pickup from our location is available upon request and requires scheduling. Delivery on furniture or larger items for local customers (within a 30 mile radius) is available and currently scheduled on weekends with an additional charge of $40.00. Items must be paid in advance and scheduled for delivery. Please convo before purchasing.
FREIGHT SHIPPING for furniture or oversized items: (fees not included in item listing/shipping) Freight shipping may also be arrange and is not included in item listing. Please convo to discuss services and costs PRIOR TO PURCHASING. Large item's shipped by freight carriers are taken off the truck and delivered to your home. DRIVERS ONLY REMOVE FURNITURE OFF THE TRUCK. If you wish for an inside delivery ("white glove service") make sure you specify with me so we can make arrangements and adjust shipping costs before purchasing. With freight shipping the 3rd party shipper is responsible for damages or losses. All damages must be reported at the time of shipment arrival. All damage must be marked on shippers invoice before signing shippers paperwork in order to be compensated. Please notify me with any concerns.
SHIP TO ADDRESSES: I ship to the address listed on the Etsy account. If you wish to send to a different location please make sure you notify me upon purchasing.
If for some reason your Etsy address is incorrect and item has been shipped, it will be your responsibility to pay to have the item re-shipped once it has been returned to me. Please be advised it can take several weeks to have a package returned to the sender. A refund will be issued only upon receiving the package back, and the original shipping cost is not refundable.
SHIPPING OPTIONS: Sending as a gift? Please enter the recipient's name and address in Etsy so I can print the label directly from your order details.
I usually do not add receipts to package since buyers can print directly from their accounts.
All items are packaged with great care, using recycled as well as new packaging peanuts or bubble wrap for fragile items. In an effort to help the earth and keep your cost at their lowest, I do recycle boxes (good quality and clean) to ship items. If a purchase is being shipped as a gift and you need gift quality packaging please let me know in advance there is an additional charge for this.
COMBINED SHIPPING: In the case of multiple purchases, I will work with you to offer a combined shipping rate if possible. If you are interested in making multiple purchases, please contact me PRIOR to purchasing, and we will figure out the most cost effective way to ship your multiple items.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Please email me before making your purchase, due to various size restrictions imposed by different countries. Please indicate the item, and your country, along with your city and postal code. I will email you actual shipping rates and carriers prior to you making purchase.
- I comply with all customs laws. - I am not responsible for duties, VAT taxes or fees that result from international shipping. - As per U.S. and international government regulations, I cannot mark purchases as gifts and I must declare the actual value. Falsifying customs forms is illegal and can result in your package being confiscated, fines levied and/or other penalties. - International First Class packages can take from ten days to two months. Your package may be delayed in your country's customs office, which is out of my control.
I accept payment via Paypal, which is my preferred payment method. You can pay by credit card, bank transfer or from your checking or savings account via Paypal. I also accept money orders.
Please keep in mind that items ship upon payment received and clearing. All payments for items must be made within 3 days of purchase.
TAXES: NJ residents must pay sales tax.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Items on sale

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
All items are sold in "AS IS" condition. Prior to purchase be sure to read the description and view pics carefully, if you need more info. feel free to convo me. I can always email additional pictures. Most of my items are vintage, antique, or are made using vintage parts or salvage and will show gentle wear and signs of use.

Refunds and Exchanges Regular Returns: Returns on most items are accepted if you notify me within three (3) days of your receipt of the item that you will be returning it. The return item must be in the same condition as it was when it was sent to you. A refund will not be issued until I receive the returned item, and have verified its condition.
Furniture Pieces and Large Antique Pieces are not returnable unless grossly misrepresented. Please review photo details and read descriptions carefully. I welcome all questions before purchasing and can even take a more detailed photo if necessary.
Shipping costs are not refundable, and it is the Buyer's responsibility to pay the return shipping costs and return the merchandise in question in the same manner it was shipped to them by Seller, (i.e. if I sent you something via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, you must use the same level of shipping to return the item). All returns must have tracking.
Returns must be postmarked within 7 days of receipt.
If your item is damaged in shipping, please send me photos of the damage via convo. In the case of transit damage or loss, refunds will include your original shipping costs. Keep all packaging
NOTE: Convo me if you have any questions, no question is ever a silly question! I spend quite a bit of time and effort to accurately represent items, but even then may overlook something that may seems obvious to others.
PLEASE INSPECT PACKAGES UPON RECEIPT. In case of damage during shipping, I will be happy to assist in filing an insurance claim. I include insurance on most items I consider fragile (ie glass, ceramic, art, etc)
DAMAGED MERCHANDISE IN SHIPPING - MAKE SURE TO KEEP ALL PACKAGING - This is required in order to file a claim. - TAKE PICTURES of packaging and item showing damages. - CONTACT ME immediately upon receipt of damaged merchandise. - Buyer will be required to fill out form.
LOST MERCHANDISE Please notify me if merchandise does not arrive after reasonable amount of time. I mostly ship with Etsy Shipping Labels which notifies the buyer when shipped and tracks the package as it moves.
Vintage items may contain materials that were considered "safe" at the item was originally produced. We have no direct knowledge of specific materials used on any vintage item being sold, and as such, assume no responsibility or liability for the vintage materials used on any item.
