(Regular price: CAN$36) (Still perfecting my technique with this yarn!)
Incredibly soft and squishy, this 100% untreated (non-superwash) merino super bulky yarn is kettle dyed for intense one-of-a-kind colour variegation. The slightly uneven singles construction gives visual and textural interest, while providing excellent stitch definition. Yardage is approximate, due to the slight variations in thickness, but the double-size mega skein gives plenty of yardage for some seriously cozy projects. Knit up a super quick hat, headband or cowl, or make some fabulous poms, or even use it for other fibre arts applications, like awesome weavings and wall-hangings, or even felting projects!
What's even greater about this yarn is that it's an eco-friendly untreated (non-superwash) merino wool, and Canadian-milled!
I photograph in natural light and do minimal post-editing so that my colours are as accurate as possible, but please remember that colours may display differently from monitor to monitor. I have found that blue-greens are the most difficult to capture, and that phone screens tend to show colours much warmer and more vividly.
The third-last photo is a sample of this yarn in a different colourway being knit on size 13 needles. The second-last photo is all the current super bulky skeins together to show colour comparisons. The last photo is the undyed yarn, shown for scale.
