This vintage looking decorated file folder pocket was made with Tim Holtz "Memoranda" paper and is filled with coffee stained ephemera for junk journals. The file folder pocket measures approximately 7" x 9 1/4" (at the highest point).
The file folder was coffee stained. Memoranda paper was glued and sewn to the front of the folder, and some was also glued inside the back top edge, too. Then I sewed a strip of ruffled lace to the left side, added some flat-back pink pearl trim across the top, and finished the decoration with some cheesecloth and a button at the upper right. A very pretty copy of a vintage sheet music page was added to the back. The whole folder has a very shabby chic look.
Inside are 14 pieces of ephemera, most of which has been coffee-stained for you. The pieces are:
1 glassine bag 2 German book pages (Amish) 2 rolodex cards--one small and one larger 1 CD window envelope 4 guest checks--2 larger and 2 smaller 1 long time card 1 florist card with roses 1 sheet vellum -- 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" 1 sheet London deli paper--approx. 12" x 16"
The last three items above are the only ones not coffee stained.
