Our Pocket Unicorn kit comes packaged in an adorable cupcake box, complete with a handle on top, and would make an adorable gift for you knitting friend, too. Everyone can use a little more magic in their life!
This kit includes the materials you need to knit 2 small unicorns in the round: Intermediate Knitting Pattern with download link for the pdf version of the pattern 100% Wool Fingering Weight Yarn in 2 colors for the body and hooves plus a third color of 75% Superwash Merino Wool/25% Nylon for tail and mane. All you will need to complete your magical friend is a US Size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle, a tapestry needle, 21 removable stitch markers, and scissors! If you want to get fancy you can also use two US size 1 double pointed needles for I-cord, but they're totally optional. If you are a tighter knitter you might be more comfortable using US Size 2 (2.75mm) needles instead. Please note we do offer that you can add a set of stitch markers in a small tin to your kit for only $6. These markers are perfect for our small fingering kits! It includes 24 removable markers and 4 closed, snag-free shaped markers for the beginning of the round all in a cute little tin. You can see the tin of markers listing here: https://www.etsystudio.com/listing/611982215/wicked-chickens-yarn-stitch-marker-set?ref=shop_home_active_1
Finished unicorns are approximately 2" tall and 3" long.
The kit will come complete with a printed version of the pattern, but there will also be a download code on your pattern for the pdf version of the pattern. The download is through Ravelry.com, but you do not need a ravelry account to download the pattern. The pattern is designed by author and designer Rebecca Danger, known for her whimsical monster and creature knitting patterns.
*****Please note, you will not receive the finished items shown in this listing, only the materials to create them yourself (or give to your crafty friends).*****
