Vintage sewing machine from early 20th century. Made in Brooklyn! The Company was Mercury of New York. This was their Premier Deluxe model and features extensive Victorian style decals. i bought this at an estate sale because I could not resist how darling she looked--an aged lady but bursting with beauty, styling, and a mid-century, 1950s-1960s dark walnut cabinet with Italiante legs with fold out leafs. I am selling this as a home decor item since I know nothing about sewing and can't tell if it works. Probably, because it was an estate item. It has a pedal which I think was added. Refurbish, use for parts, or great decor object--I bought to display it with flowers against a bare wall and have always gotten compliments. Sorry, but not a boring, common looking Singer model. Miss Gussie is a beauty!
