Handmade Rolags on an Ashford blending board. There are various merino, corridale, silks, sparkles and some lovely hand dyed locks just peeking through that will add lovely texture. They are lovely and soft.
There is 52g/1.8oz in total.
All descriptions are as accurate as can be. Fiber is sourced from many places and some arrive without labels, therefore exact names aren't always known. Descriptions of fibers are given where possible. The rolags aren't as robust as batts, therefore few pictures are taken so they aren't handled too much. Some rolag spirals may split when taken out of their bag, but this won't effect how they spin. Sometimes one rolag will be slightly smaller or thinner than the rest and not as pretty looking. This is just how it comes off the board at the end. It doesn't always happen but if it does, it is still included in the set of rolags so fiber is not wasted. It spins exactly the same as the rest.
As with most roving/fleece some vegetable matter may be left in the product. This will come out as you process.
Bakewells Batts and Rolags are prepared with spinning in mind, however they could be used for felting or other Fiber Arts. To see more about Bakewell Hearts follow on Instagram or Facebook!
