Item details

This amber colored jewel tone is the perfect staple for your handmade wardrobe. This 4 ply DK yarn is 100% merino and is amazingly soft. Perfect for a DK weight shawl or sweater to keep you cozy this winter!

-Weight: DK
-Materials: 100% Superwash Merino
-100 gram/231 yards

CARE:

Machine wash gentle. Tumble dry low.

Because this is a hand-dyed item, some excess dye may still be present. I would recommend handwashing for the initial wash.

INDIE DYED:

The intensity and placement of color may vary from skein to skein. Each individual skein can be considered one-of-a-kind. If you would like a larger quantity in a single colorway, please request a custom order so that the skeins may match as closely as possible. As always, it's best to alternate skeins in a larger project.

I use only professional acid dyes and quality wool washes. Both have a low environmental impact.

Item Care: Please be sure to read the care instructions carefully for hand dyed yarn.

All yarn is kettle dyed and no two skeins will be exactly alike, even if they were dyed at the same time. There may be variation within one skein as well, especially in a kettle dyed yarn.

Colorways are recreated as close to the original as possible, but they will not be uniform like a commercially dyed yarn. Also be aware that different bases take color differently. Colors may vary from dye lot to dye lot.

Dyed to Order photos are a representation only. I do my best to represent the colors accurately in photos, but please be aware that colors may look different on different screens.

It is important to note that the speckled yarns, while using the same colors on multiple skeins of the same colorway, are dyed in a random fashion. No two skeins hold exactly the same speckle patterning, and there will be strong variations between multiple skeins and within each skein itself.
