Item details

Three colors and wool into the dyepot: red, black, purple. Out of the pot, spun into yarn: red, pink, black. gray, purple, lavender, silver. But the 3 original colors are now blended and somewhat heathered--not distinct at all.

The wool is from Xenia, a Lincoln Longwool sheep living at a farm in Indiana --and is one of my favorite sheep to spin. .....well, her fleece.

Her fleece has been spun from the locks into a semi-smooth, semi-curly textured skein of 54 yards.

The yarn is a light skein of bulky wool that is soft and silky.

I would use a size 11 or 13 needle for knitting. Be sure to work quite loosely as you do not want to choke this yarn.

Thanks from all of us at KnoxFarmFiber.

I will send your purchase out the next day after payment is received. No fancy packaging for me--just tissue paper inside an environmentally-conscious mailing bag. It's compostable!
I understand international customs rules and will fill out forms accordingly. I will ship pkg air mail but not priority to international addresses.
And Canada? No problem. Formerly I took your package across the Bridge to mail. Turns out it is less expensive and faster to mail from the Bflo airport post office--so that is what I'll do.

Please pay promptly, so I can send your purchase out right away. Paypal and credit cards make a sale finish quickly. If you prefer a check or money order, that's ok. I need to receive your check within 7 days of sale or I will cancel the sale. Any problems, just convo me.

Returns & exchanges

I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I think it is difficult to buy yarn online, when the best part of buying is touching, smelling, seeing in different lights. I will refund the full price for any yarn skein that has not been unwound, or any full-wt unspun roving. And if it never arrives at all? Let me know right away and we'll try to find a good solution. Thanks.
