Each bell measures 2 1/4" tall by a wide 1 3/4", and the wooden clapper extends just a bit below that. They have gold paint applied in an all over manner (more uniformly) to give them a fresher look. They may have some bumps and wrinkles. The top hanger is thick and sturdy, and they have a piece of jute rope attached. They are just full of charm!!! These bells are in a CYLINDRICAL shape.

The box of five small bells arrived with four bells intact and nice and one bell had no clapper. It seems the seller should have checked all the bells before shipment for quality. I wrote to the seller that one bell was defective. She said she’d send a replacement plus an extra bell. Tracking shows she did this and it supposedly was delivered but we never received the replacement bell shipment. This is probably a USPS delivery mistake. The USPS does misdeliver or fail to deliver mail and packages sometimes here. Unfortunately, the USPS in our area is not a reliable carrier. So, we will have to keep this in mind when placing orders. I do appreciate that the seller tried to provide replacement bells but the USPS seems to have managed to misplace or lose the replacement shipment.
We always strive to ship out your purchase within 24 hours, and right now we have 100% accuracy with that policy. We generally ship through the post office using standard mail. If you would like your item shipped priority or express to receive it sooner--please email us and we will be happy to adjust the price,only if needed, and accommodate your needs!! (Please remember that during busy holiday times, we will still provide 24 hour shipping, but standard mail may take longer. You may want to upgrade to 2 day mail. Please convo us for this service)

We do not issue refunds unless the purchase is damaged. If a purchase does arrive broken or damaged, please contact the shipping company about getting a refund. We insure all our items, so you will easily be able to get a refund. But please let us know if there is a problem, and we will be happy to help!
Why do we charge a handling fee?? Handling fees include the cost of shipping materials -- such as the box, the packing material, the time and care we put into packing our delicate, oddly shaped or bulky items. Shipping costs are also higher than the the actual post office charges to absorb the fees charged to us by etsy and paypal. Because of the nature of our store and the delicate properties of most of our items, we cannot just throw each item into a box--each has to be carefully wrapped to prevent breakage or damage and many times a proper box must be constructed to support your purchase. We always try to ship within the same day, or next day if it is a night time sale, so we are always rushing out to the post office!!
