Item details

Hand-forged knife made in my little shop.
This knife is made out of wrought iron back and steel edge, which we're forge welded together at very high temperatures. The knife blade is deeply etched to bring out wood grain shaped patterns of wrought iron.

The handle is made out of oak and it's aged used natural dyes.

The sheath is vegetable tanned leather, hand sewed and tooled with Slavic inspired design of sun (Sonce) and basket weave pattern.

Because the blade is thin I recommend using it for lighter jobs, like cutting vegetable and meat, eating, cleaning fish etc.

Knife: -Length: 24cm (12cm blade; 12cm handle)
- Width of the blade: 2mm

Blade is heat treated (normalized, quenched, tempered)
