A wood Frame Print that you'll love forever!

Our process starts with the selection of the best wood panels to use for your printing made by experts.
We love Wood Prints, They are our favourite type of print!

We print directly over the wood using our state of the art equipments in super high resolution, making your pictures look unique and glorious.

We have two ways to print over the wood:

1-) Adding a light coat of white gesso to the wood before printing, that way you'll get the original colours of your picture and still have the great look of the wood grain and
2-) By printing directly the wood without the light white gesso. That way you get a different look by being able to see whatever is white from your picture a bit yellow because of the look/colour of the natural wood, which is also great looking.

Our inks get inside the slightly sanded first layer of the wood panel ply, bonding together like magic, resulting in a marvellous look just like if it had come like that from our mother nature.

Send us your photo to production [!at] printacolour.ca in a file format suitable (PDF, EPS, PSD, TIFF, JPEG) and with good quality in terms of resolution, we'll take it from there, from cropping the image to getting it to the right size. No worries, that's on us!

At Printacolour we do personalized orders. It is our main core business. Contact us at sales@printacolour.ca if you need a size not publish among our listing.

The best file format to send to us is a high resolution PDF or tiff. We also accept PDF, JPEG, AI, PSD and EPS as well, but TIFF, PDF or JPEG are the most recommended. We always ask to have your photos sent or uploaded at 300 dpi to ensure a high quality print. We will prepare the image for you in terms of cropping and getting them to the right size, so no worries about that. If we see that the image sent by you doesn’t have the proper proportions we will contact you to discuss about it and offer you ideas on how to improve them if needed. There’s always a solution.

Yes, we do! It can be requested on your order, just writes a message while placing your order on your cart, include your email as well. If your order requires a proof, production turnaround time begins after you have approved that proof. If a proof is requested, you will be emailed within 1-3 business days.

Yes, but only if you ask us to do it. At Printacolour we respect the artist concept at all times and we respect the colours sent in your photos as well. If you need us to retouch something, give us a call at 519 897-7265. If is something simple, no worries we take care of it at no cost.

We use our state of the art UV flatbed printing equipment, with the latest KN reformulated ink, that can print up to 1200 DPI’s with an amazing finish.

We'll try to make it exactly the same as the artwork you sent us, keep in mind that we print directly over different material/substrates that sometimes can make colours look a bit different on each one of them...but not to worry, we will make internal proofs at our costs to get the colours similar to your photo/artwork sent. For instance in the Wood Prints, you have the options of having your print using a white light Gesso and then your photo is printed and also you can go with the clear natural Gesso which won't show any white colour at all and you will have your photo or artwork showing the natural wood clour on the background (light-light Yellow). On both types of background you will be able to see the wood grain.

We will take it from there and confirm with you that we have received the file and that is ready to be processed. If your file is too big, no worries! Those are the ones that we prefer to print because they hold the most quality. Simply send us a we transfer (www.wetransfer.com). that way you can send us up to 2GB use the same email address mentioned before to get us your file: production@printacolour.ca
