California grown and processed Corriedale roving. This wool roving is perfect for felting projects and hand spinning projects. Corriedale wool is not as soft as merino but is very springy and gives yarn great loft and nice sheen. This wool was grown in northern California as part of a movement to sequester carbon on farms with grazing practices that are climate beneficial. Washed and processed in Mendocino county. This wool is local and good for the planet! Sold in hanks of approximately 4 ounces.
Please be aware that there are imperfections in this roving due to us still learning our mill equipment and because we do not chemical treat our wool there is still some vegetable matter present.
Nice roving, shipped very fast. I bought this along with Targhee and merino roving. They were all very nice but none of them were labeled. The merino I knew because of the color. The other two were both white so I had to guess which was which. As a suggestion, when you ship products from several different breeds, please label them.
