The carnival bouquet is a colourful and whimsical flower captured in a drop of clear glass.
Each bouquet is a one of a kind created by using a technique called implosion. Tiny dots and stripes of coloured glass are painted onto a clear disc of glass, which is then carefully heated to pull the colours into a flower form. The shape of the bead is free formed to highlight the floral design. As soon as the bead has been created, it is placed in a digitally controlled kiln for several hours to anneal, strengthening the glass.
This particular bouquet has a 2.4mm stainless steel nut inserted into it for use with an interchangeable pendant holder. The first image shows the bouquet with the holder, and the second and third images without. You can choose from the drop down box to either purchase the bouquet on its own to use with your own bead holder, or you can purchase it with the pendant attachment. The pendant attachment can be used for other interchangeable beads I list as well as those from other artists.
Dimensions: Bead 31 mm top to bottom x 22 mm at widest point. With pendant holder 39 mm top to bottom. Holder will accommodate chains/cord up to 3 mm wide.
