Originally set out as a OOAK, I love this parakeet inspired colourway so much I think it will become a regular!
If you live in London you will be familiar with the flocks of bright green parakeets that take to the skies...squarking out their loud and shrill cries. The story goes that they escaped from a film set way back in the 1951...during the making of the John Houston film "The African Queen", with Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn.
Often seen as a pest (they are noisy!!) you can't help but admire their plummage. A lovely lime green, with accents of blue and a bright red beak to top it off.
This colourway is available on Hellcandy Sock.
425m of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon per 100g skein.
