This is a pattern written for the displayed dress. It is for a newborn size child. If you want to make it for a bigger baby you will need to add stitches to the initial chain....It may very for each person as tension might be different. I can personally do four sc st per inch. So if i want to add an inch to the neck width ill need to increase my chain by 8 stitches and then break up into four groups accurately.
Ive only made newborn size dresses so i dont know off hand the stitch amount you would need for a bigger size but feel free to pm me and we can figure it out!
I bought the hot set crystals and the flower from hobby lobby so i cant promise you your location will have the particular flower i used in my dress. In order to use the hot set crystals you will need to have a heat setter tool. I personally use the tulip brand which is also found at hobby lobby.
To make it bigger you can also change the hook size to a bigger millimeter. As well as use worsted weight. I just like the softness of Caron simply soft yarn.
