Amethyst Sage Dendritic Agate Cabochon, Designer Cabochons Handmade by MagicStones
This is a cabochon of Amethyst Sage Dendritic Agate mined from the northern desert mountains of Nevada. I found this gem hiding in a 5 pound chunk I got directly from the miner. Beautiful shades of very light lavender and white make a stunning background to dendrites running through the stone. It looks like a picture of a bare tree against the evening sky in winter... Approximate measurements: 40mm x 38mm x 6mm 3mm bezel edge. 13.36g
I make all my cabochons by hand in my home studio. Unless otherwise noted all my gems are domed on the front and are flat with a slight bevel on the back for ease in setting. The sides are cut at a slight angle (12.5 degrees off of perpendicular). I polish the front, back and sides of each stone.
Shipping costs include first-class postage and tracking. I place the cab in a cotton-lined gift box and then mail it in a bubble-wrap mailer.
We will do international shipping only if the buyer purchases insurance for the package. Please convo us if interested.

Photos The photos are taken with a Nikon SLR digital camera with a 50mm macro lens. The photos are taken 12 - 18 inches under state of the art 50-watt photography lights (4700k). I never enhance photos to make them look better, rather I do my best to capture the gem as it truly looks. I also try to take pictures with different color backgrounds to give a better idea of the stones true color. Different computer monitors may show variations in color.
