Vintage hand made tradititional African Indigo fabrics. Indigo Blue stitch resist-dyed strip weave hand woven cloth. The strip weave pieces are then sewn together by hand to make the larger pieces. Sometimes the cloths can be very uniform, other times.. more like a quilt or college of pieces that are varied patterns or even solid colors.
Traditional wrappers worn by the women of Mossi peoples in Burkina Faso and Mali, the indigenous peoples use the CLOTH to WEAR as a WRAP and to carry babies.
