This 22-inch wide, 17-inch high piece of vintage barkcloth is a reproduction of Grandma Moses' painting "At the Well," which she painted in 1950. The fabric was made in the 1950s. The piece is upcycled from a drapery panel and so was gently used. Details are:
~ The 2nd photo shows a piece that is identical to the piece in this listing, except for the fact that the selvage (on the left) had slightly different markings. The piece is a full repeat of the design.
~ The piece has been reclaimed from a drapery panel and is overall slightly faded. The selvage is partially present, but is frayed/worn. There a faint fold line 1/2 inch from the edge where there was a hem.
~ The fabric is medium weight, heavier than quilting cotton. It has a fine, pebbly, almost herringbone-like texture often found in Grandma Moses barkcloth designs. I consider this fabric to be barkcloth, as do most vintage fabric collectors and as did Riverdale, the company that manufactured it. A few vintage fabric collectors consider the term "barkcloth" only to apply only to very thick, very nubby fabrics, and this is not that kind of fabric.
I do my very best to describe the fabrics I list, but please remember that this is vintage fabric that has been upcycled from a drapery panel and so is in gently used condition.

On purchases of multiple items, Etsy calculates combined shipping when purchases are made on the same invoice (all items in a cart at once), but the amount is not always correct. I refund shipping overcharges of more than $1.00 immediately following shipment.
If a buyer wishes to have an order shipped to an address other than the buyer's address, the shipping address must be entered during the checkout process. Specifying a different address by convo or message is not sufficient to permit me to ship to that address. If an address changed is requested, I will refund and cancel the order, and ask the buyer to repurchase using the correct shipping address, in compliance with the Etsy Seller Protection Policy.
I no longer ship internationally to any country. Shipping is to U.S. addresses only.
I accept payment through Paypal via Paypal balance, credit card, or direct bank transfer, or through Etsy payments. I do not accept eCheck payments. I do not offer layaway services or installment payment plans.
Returns & exchanges
I accept returns only if I have made a mistake in the listing or an item otherwise is not as described in the listing, as long as the return is postmarked within 3 business days of receipt and is returned in exactly the same condition as it was received. The buyer must contact me prior to returning any item. Refunds will be issued after the item has been returned.
All of my listings are sold on a first come, first served basis. I do not "hold" or "reserve" items for purchase at a later time.
My prices are the same for everyone. I do not add a cushion to prices to allow for negotiating price or provide for free shipping. I treat all buyers the same and keep my prices as low as possible for everyone, rather than negotiating special prices for individual buyers.
Reviews are a valuable resource for both sellers and buyers. I rely on my reputation to inform new buyers about the quality of my products and level of customer service. If ever there is any kind of concern or issue with a purchase, please contact me prior to leaving a review with less than 5 Stars, so that I may remedy the situation.
I sincerely appreciate my customers who take the time to leave reviews and share their experiences with other Etsy buyers.
