Item details

Oh my, this is a fabulous antique ticking. Very rare to find these now, it's just lovely. Woven stripe and damask pattern in cafe au lait, carmine red and a tiny hint of dark smokey blue.

I am selling this by the piece and have four in total (cutting around a couple of large rips). If you would like more than one piece/a larger size, please contact me and I'll see what we can do.

These fabrics were densely woven and made to last; I'm sure you'll find plenty of uses to add a touch of French elegance, that "château chic" element to your home.

This piece has been used so has the inevitable snags and very small holes from the stitches and tufting but is generally in very good vintage condition.

Approximate dimensions per piece: 80 cm wide x 50 cm high (31.5 inches x 20 inches)

Ref: 375NM15

Purchases will be posted from England or France - please check individual listings. I do not mark up the postage and if I've overestimated by more than £1 I will send you a refund via Paypal. Usually I can get to the post office once a week - if you're in a hurry for an item please get in touch and I will let you know if I can post out quickly.

Items up to £20 in value are listed with postage by standard services with NO INSURANCE. If you would like a signed for service with insurance please contact me for a price.

Heavier items may be sent outside EU by SURFACE MAIL - this is exactly what it says; items go by sea and then overland. This takes as little as six weeks but you should expect a delivery time of eight to 12 weeks. If you cannot wait this long please contact me for Airmail prices.

The maximum weight of anything posted from UK can only be up to 2kg. If you would like to purchase a number of items or a heavy sheet, for example, please convo me for information about the French "Colissimo" box system. This is a 5kg (£36) or 7kg (£43) box which can be sent anywhere in the world and is a fully tracked and insured Airmail service. I use this often to send sheets to overseas clients and it is brilliant!

Please make your payment within 2-3 days of purchase. If the item is to be posted to you, please pay via Paypal. I will also accept UK Sterling cheques but will wait for a cheque to clear before posting an item.

If you would like to come and collect I am also happy to accept cash on collection.

Any taxes or import duties will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Returns & exchanges

Generally I do not refund items, I am very careful to describe everything as fully as possible and try to photograph any little defects an item may have. Please remember that my stock is vintage/antique and will have a little added character brought on by age!

If you have any questions AT ALL regarding an item, please ask them BEFORE making your purchase.

If an item is lost in the post I will supply you with Royal Mail claim forms but cannot make a claim on your behalf as I am only the sender of an item.

All postage from UK IS NOT TRACKED but items over £20 will be sent by a signed for service with insurance.

Additional policies

Most of my items will also be for sale at my showroom or on another website so if you see something that you really like please do purchase quickly so that you are not disappointed.
