Item details

This is a 4 hour glass workshop aimed at beginners, based at my in-home studio in Balderton, between Lincoln and Nottingham. The times are 10am-2:30pm and various dates are available (please selet from the drop down menu).

The course offers the opportunity for small groups of students to design and make a pair of glass coasters and a glass hanging decoration. The session will involve glass cutting, shaping and exploring a variety of materials including sheet glass, frit, pens, powders, and copper foil.

All completed work will need to be kiln-fired and collected from the studio within the following few days.

No prior knowledge or experience is necessary as full guidance will be given throughout the day.

Refreshments provided but please bring a packed lunch as we will take a half hour break for dinner.

Any queries please feel free to message me.

Delivery rates are individual to each item depending on size and weight of item/s. Combined shipping is offered when requested prior to checkout and will be calculated on an individual basis. Unfortunately insurance is not available when shipping glass, however the products are well padded and protected within a sturdy box therefore minimizing the risk of any breakages. Please be assured that I package my work very securely and label parcels clearly, complete with return details. No item previously sent has ever been broken or lost in transit. When delivering to outside of the EU, custom taxes (where applicable) are the responsibility of the buyer. Overseas customers will be provided with a tracking number for reference. Personal collection is also an available option.

Payments

UK and international buyers can use paypal. All paypal users must please provide a verified address for shipping purposes. Payment via paypal is expected within 3 days of purchase. I accept personal cheques from UK buyers only and personal cheques should arrive within 1 week of purchase. Failure to meet these deadlines will result in the reservation being cancelled and the item relisted for sale. Payment can be made in cash where items are collected by the seller, and in these cases collection is due within 1 week of reservation.
