The material kid is an all-fabric stuffed child doll pattern. This pattern makes a 20" doll. It has jointed legs & wire-armatured posable arms. The head turns at the top of the neck on a plastic doll joint available at most hobby & craft stores or fabric stores with a craft dept. The body has a central fabric casing inside so that a central shaft stand and be used if desired. The finished head circumference is 11". Hair can be made of yarn or a doll wig can be used. A face can be drawn with ink or fabric paint, or perhaps embroidered or appliqued.
Pattern is complete. Pattern is printed on white paper. Envelope is in good condition for age. Envelope flap had turned to the inside and was stuck to the instruction sheet. After I saw gently tugging was not going to get it loose, I had to dampen the flap and steam it. It finally pulled off. The flap is wrinkled because it was moistened and there is residue on the instruction sheet but it is not sticky. I believe you can see it in the photo.
