Vintage Milward Knitting Needle Set, Circa 1960’s
In lovely condition! I don’t think these knitting needles were ever used much. The case is in great shape. Nary a sign of wear, no tears or marks. The case is slightly compressed from storage.

Comes with 14 pairs of straight knitting needles!
Made in England. So the knitting needles are sized in ‘mm’ rather than in US sizes. Each needle is marked “MILWARD ENGLAND”.
The vinyl case closes perfectly with a metal zipper. The case, when closed, measures 13-1/2” by 5-1/2” by ¾” approximately. The vinyl is slightly textured and is a deep red marbled color.
Elastic straps hold the pieces in place.
The needles are sizes, from large to small: 7-1/2 mm, 7 mm, 6-1/2mm, 6 mm, 5-1/2 mm, 5 mm, 4-1/2 mm, 4 mm, 3-3/4 mm, 3-1/4mm, 3 mm, 2-3/4 mm, 2-1/4 mm and 2mm.
Each knitting needle is 11-1/2 inches long, approximately.
The set also comes with one large stitch holder, two different sized cable stitch holders and tapestry needle too!
This set is a perfect gift for lass who loves vintage and knitting!
