***This listing is for the PATTERN only. NOT the finished Product***
I introduce to you Mushroom Cutie. This pattern will make two different Mushroom Cuties: an adult (with feet) and a baby (diaper-like (volva) baby bottom). If you are a nerd, like me, the baby Mushroom Cutie is suppose to represent an anatomically correct mushroom structure…with a little cuteness thrown in. : ) This pattern is 9 pages long and steps you through two different ways to make the cap and cap base for the Mushroom Cutie at two different difficulty levels, beginner and intermediate. There are step-by-step directions on how to make the gills and the cute flower these cuties picked for you. Each step includes a picture to illustrate my instructions and to help you follow along. There are many other pictures throughout the pattern to help you see what each crocheted pieces is supposed to look like and to help you with assembly.
Once you finish your Mushroom Cuties, they will keep you smiling all day long. Their cute little faces are shaded from the sun by their cute polka-dotted caps. It’s a good thing too, because they went searching in the field to pick the perfect flower for you. Aren’t they so sweet and generous?
You can make the caps and polka-dots any color you’d like! Use pastel colors to make a baby Mushroom Cutie for a Mommy to be or use bright colors to help brighten up someone’s day! But don’t forget about yourself…make a Mushroom Cutie with your favorite colors and keep him close to you to keep you smiling. The choices are endless. : )
If you’d like a custom Mushroom Cutie, just convo me with the colors of your choice! : )
The Adult Mushroom Cutie stands ~9” tall. The Baby Mushroom Cutie stands ~8.5” tall.
Materials that you will need include: yarn, embroidery floss, a yarn needle, 4mm & 3mm crochet hooks, polyester stuffing, polypellets, and 9mm safety eyes or felt.
If using safety eyes REMEMBER they are not safe for children under the age of 3. Great alternatives include felt and embroidered eyes.
