I’m loving this soft green glaze combination right now. We are in the thick of winter here in Vermont, and this color makes me feel giddy for the Spring. My favorite week of the year is when all those little buds first open up on the trees, and reveal the loveliest shades of green. February tends to be a crafty month for me as I look forward to gentle Spring.
I think this yarn bowl, with it’s green finish, undulating rim, and flowing wild grasses decoration is the perfect companion for your next spring knitting project.
I throw my yarn bowls from stoneware on the wheel. Each is carved and trimmed when leather hard, and fired in my electric kiln. They have just enough extra weight at the bottom to prevent tipping. Pictured here with a 50 gram ball of yarn, the interior is very roomy. When not in use, it makes a wonderful display piece. This makes a thoughtful gift for your favorite knitter.
My pots are packaged very carefully and securely to avoid breakage, and I make every effort to use recycled materials when they are available to me. I generally ship USPS Priority mail, unless a package is particularly large or you are very far away. Generally, I send my pottery the fastest way possible for the amount of shipping funds I receive. If you would like a speedier delivery, please convo me.
If your pot is a gift, I am happy to include a message for your recipient. Just include it in the "message to seller" section as you check out. Or you can always convo me after your purchase is complete.
I accept pay pal or credit cards for all purchases. Should you want to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours.
Returns & exchanges
In the case that an item arrives damaged, I will gladly replace it or refund you via paypal. It may take me up to 8 weeks to replace an item, depending on where I am at in my firing schedule. While it is impossible to create two that are exactly alike, I will try my best.
I will gladly refund you for any item you are not completely satisfied with within 30 days of the purchase date. However, unless an item arrives broken, return shipping is on you. Refunds will be given upon receipt of item in its original packaging.
Please note that all of my pottery is hand dipped (no fancy equipment here!) and that slight variations in the glaze on any given piece is to be expected and embraced as part of it's handmade character.
I am interested in barter with other ETSY sellers. You may sell something I didn't even know I wanted, but it isn't difficult to convince me. Please convo me!
