Item details

This is a PDF sewing pattern to make a cute little zakka style zipper pouch to store sewing notions, accessories, or other small items. Perfect for swaps and gift-giving, you can embellish this bag any way you like! The pattern includes two sizes, using 6" (15cm) and 8" (20cm) zippers.

A variety of techniques are used to decorate the pouch: machine quilting, applique, embellishing with favorite trims and buttons--each explained fully with instructions and lots of photos.

You will receive an 11-page pattern in PDF format with tutorial-style instructions, full color photographs, and to scale template pieces (no need to enlarge, just print and sew!).

This pattern does require a fair amount of hand stitching so it is a great project for car trips and armchair sewing.

Recommended for intermediate stitchers and above. Experience with zippers and quilting techniques is helpful but not required.

Finished sizes:
Medium pouch is 4-1/2”H x 5-1/2”W (11.4 cm x 14 cm)
Small pouch is 3-1/2”H x 4-1/4”W (8.9 cm x 10.8 cm)
