I've started working with high grade synthetics recently for a few reasons, 1 is that are like I said high grade and very soft and economical 2 prices are going very high and not everyone can afford to pay 6 dollars an oz and up for spinning fibers 3 they can add a nice depth to a roving or batt and combined with the natural fibers are great, you get best of both worlds. This may offend purist, and I love all natural fibers as much as the next person, raise my own angora also. I love a challenge and bringing new fiber combo's to you , so please try some you might be pleasantly surprised. Also many people would love to spin but have serious allergies so many natural fibers are out, or they are vegan and prefer plants based and or synthetics. Cheers ! Karen aka sdspin
