Item details

Make a set of 5 Waldorf-inspired finger puppets in 10 super-easy steps. Tutorial-style PDF pattern includes full-size patterns for King, Queen, Princess, Knight and Wizard finger puppets. Finished sizes range from 3 1/2 inches to 5 inches (including hats).

These puppets have been carefully designed to be truly FAST and EASY to make. Pattern includes detailed instructions for sewing bodies and costumes, drawing faces, and creating easy hair styles, with 47 inspiring color photos and 14 line drawings.

Child-tested for play value! My young visitors LOVE these little characters. The puppets also stand well (better with a cork in the finger hole), to use for table-top theater or even dollhouse dolls.

To make all 5 puppets, you will need a sewing machine, scissors, a hand-sewing needle, and these materials:

* 1/8 yard woven cotton fabric in the skin-tone of your choice for bodies;
* scraps of woven cotton fabric for costumes;
* thread to match your fabrics;
* small amounts of sport-weight yarn for hair;
* small piece of grey felt (about 6 inches square) for the Knight's armor;
* tiny piece of skin-tone felt (about 1 inch by 3 inches) for hands;
* a few inches of narrow ribbons for costume accents;
* cotton balls (cosmetic puffs) for stuffing the heads;
* colored pens for drawing faces.

I have a very limited supply of the fabrics used to make the illustrated puppets. Please convo me if you are interested in a fabric kit.
